Aniracetam 750 mg 60 capsules

-Description-

Aniracetam is a fat soluble analog of the brain supplement Piracetam. While it shares many of Piracetam’s effects on the brain it has two main unique advantages Piracetam does not have: 1. Being fat soluble, Aniracetam it has far better penetration into the brain through the blood brain barrier and is longer lasting. 2. Aniracetam is a potent stimulator of the brain’s Glutamate AMPA receptors. AMPA receptor research is considered an exciting development in studying and enhancing Cognition. Such compounds that effect AMPA receptors are called Ampakines.

-Neurochemical Effects-

: Positive allosteric modulator of AMPA receptors (Ampakine)

- Enhances glutamatergic neurotransmission, long term potentiation, synaptic transmission, neurotrophin expression, and impulsivity.

: Potentiates alpha 4 beta 2-type nicotinic acetylcholine receptors

- Improves memory & facilitates dual dopaminergic/serotonergic transmission

: Regulates calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase (CaMKII)

Elevates memory consolidation

: Modulates Serotonin 5-HT2A and dopamine D2 receptors

- Reduces stress levels

: Improves Cerebral Glucose Metabolism

- Increase mental energy

-Dose-

750-3,000 mg daily with meals.

Having grown up for a part of my life in Chicago, it's good to see a "home-town" company when ordering this product. Everything was professionally packaged and arrived when it was supposed to. I give the company 5 stars and definitely will order from them again in the future.

As far as the product goes, I agree with Nancy on a lot of her points. No matter what, I would always strongly recommend researching nootropics or any other supplement/ drug you decide to try. Piracetam was suggested to me by my local vitamin place after I picked up a container of DMAE. After extensive research, I went with Aniracetam because of its potency. So far, excellent results. I will say that since starting on Aniracetam, I notice that usually 5 minutes after I take my stack the inside of my mouth tingles like if I just got a shot of novacaine but without the numbness. Right now my stack (mixture) consists of 520mg-DMAE, 3000mg-Aniracetam, 1 multi-V, 1 B-Complex and at least 2 cups of coffee in the morning. After lunch I add 1 fish oil and a C vitamin. I'm in my 30's and this stack really works for me. The Aniracetam HAS kept me focused and in a better mental state. I plan on lowering the dosage (as recommended) in a few weeks once it has completely worked its magic into my system and then adding Piracetam in the afternoon. I would CAUTION that consuming too much caffeine with this product will enhance the effects so be prepared. I was already a night owl before so this is nothing new to me. On outside forum sites, some people post about adding a supplement to calm them down at night. For me, I just go and work out. Even though this is a supplement review, I would still recommend exercise to calm down over adding another supplement.

One more thing I would caution to prepare for (that I have been experiencing) is a level of heightened senses. So far, I'm not experiencing any dependency issues or groggy aftermath. Obviously, individual experiences will vary.

One capsule of this has the same effect as 6 caps of Piracetam. I like it because I dont have to take as much for the same effect. this is an excellent brain tuner . I have noticed that if I do NOT take it that day, my mental cognition is not as sharp - a very noticeable difference. So in that respect I have become somehwat dependent on it.
