Phenibut (Phenyl-GABA) is a derivative of GABA (A relaxing inhibitory neurotransmitter that regulates stress and sleep). Phenibut is a clinically studied nootropic and have been used since the 1960's for improving emotional and cognitive health. Phenibut is used primarily to improve sleep quality, reduce stress, and enhance focus. An interesting side note is it's use by Russian cosmonaut's medical kit for space missions.
