Pomegranate Extract with CocoaGold™ 30 Vcaps

One of the most popular supplements among Life Extension Foundation members is the standardized Pomegranate Caps. Based on the unique vascular benefits of pomegranate and cocoa polyphenols, these two beneficial nutrients have now been combined into one low-cost supplement. Chocolate contains a wide range of antioxidant compounds called polyphenols, including the procyanidins epicatechin and catechin. Research has shown that cocoa contains more antioxidant polyphenols than any other food. Pomegranate juice is sold in a wide variety of diluted forms. Up until now, it has been difficult for consumers to know how much of a particular brand of pomegranate juice or pomegranate extract they need to approximate amounts used in published studies that have shown dramatic health benefits. After reviewing the scientific literature, Life Extension determined punicalagins to be the most significant constituent in pomegranate. This research suggests that one should have a daily intake of at least 78 mg of punicalagins for optimal cardiovascular health and 280-375 mg for optimal prostate health. Taking pomegranate and cocoa extract together in a capsule form is a great way to avoid the sugar commonly found in pomegranate juice and chocolate.

Contains tree nuts (cocoa beans). This product contains NO milk, egg, fish, peanuts, crustacean shellfish (lobster, crab, shrimp), soybeans, wheat, yeast, gluten, corn or rice. Contains NO sugar, and no artificial sweeteners, flavors, colors, or preservatives. 
 
Dosage and Use

Take one capsule daily with or without food, or as recommended by a healthcare practitioner.
 
 
Caution
